Let people get a chance to vote, says Surjya

Pointing to the blast at Birbhum on Friday, Mishra held that people of Bengal are not safe in Trinamool hands. "Initially people thought that the Left supporters are unsafe. Now they have come to realise that no one is safe under this government, not even the Trinamool supporters," Mishra said.

The CPM leader also came down heavily on the Trinamool government over the rising corruption. "The government held two Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) examinations. What stops them from publishing the results?"They will not be able to come clear on results because they have taken money from candidates," Mishra said. The Leader of the Opposition also accused the Trinamool government of taking commission from companies for supplying bicycles and books free of cost to school students. Mishra parried questions over the proposed alliance between CPM and Congress in the coming elections. "I appeal to the people from all political shades to come together against this corrupt government," he said.
