West Bengal Teachers Eligibility Test (TET) is rescheduled for March 30, 2014.  This examination was supposed to be conducted on March 9. 2014 but were postponed for delay in the receipt of the application forms.

West Bengal Board of Primary Education is conducting WBTET. TET pass certificate will also be issued by this board. Examination conducts for the recruitment of Primary School teachers. As per the guidelines issued by NCTE, candidates will be appointed as primary school teachers based on the TET examination.

West Bengal Government had given approval for the candidates to reappear for the examination even after clearing WBTET 2012 for improved marks. Candidates who were willing to appear for the second time for this examination should provide information to the board through the website of West Bengal Board of Primary Education.

In 2012, several candidates had written the examination and passed the same. But they were willing to appear for the examination to improve their marks. West Bengal Government had given approval for the candidates who were willing to re-write their exams for score imporvement.

Candidates who were willing to appear for the second time for this examination should provide information to the board through the website West Bengal Board of Primary Education.

Such candidates are required to give information compulsorily, which will lead to confirmation about their candidature for the Second TET. At the same time, each candidate will get an Acknowledgement Receipt which is a token of confirmation of acceptance of his/her candidature and allotment of the venue for the Second TET.
